Meconium

Your baby’s first few nappies will probably contain a gooey, dark-green, tar-like substance, with little to no smell. This is called Meconium.

This kind of poo is made up of things like skin cells and other particles your baby swallowed along with the amniotic fluid while inside the womb.

Breastfed

If you’re breast feeding your baby your baby's stool may look a little like mustard and is slightly runny and sometimes grainy in texture.
